USC has Seven Players Invited to NFL Combine

The USC Trojans will be represented by seven players at the NFL draft combine to be heldĀ in Indianapolis from Feb. 22-28.

Here’s the full list below:

Rhett Ellison, FB, USC
Chris Galippo, LB, USC
DaJohn Harris, DL, USC
Matt Kalil, OL, USC
Nick Perry, DL, USC
Christian Tupou, DL, USC
Marc Tyler, RB, USC

Despite the obvious the loss of the NFL quality talent mentioned above, the Trojans appear to be winning even more supporters among those who think they will win the National Championship in 2012. USC now claims the top spot in ESPN’s Way Too Early Preseason Top-25.

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a reason to further trash talk UCLA, the Bruins will have (as of now) only one player attending the combine: TE Corey Harkey.

Interestingly, despite starting all 14 games for the Bruins Harkey caught only one pass in 2011, being much more effective as a blocker.
