Darrius Heyward-Bey: 90 yards receiving, 1 TD

Analysis:
Carson Palmer didn’t have a good game last week versus the Chiefs. Palmer completed 16-of-26 passes for 237 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Palmer did complete a 53 yard pass to Darrius Heyward-Bey in overtime which set up the game winning field goal and kept the Raiders playoff hopes alive. We expect Palmer to have a bounce back game this week versus the Chargers.
Denarius Moore and Darrius Heyward-Bey each had solid game against the the Chiefs. Moore caught four passes for 94 yards including a 61 yard bomb from Carson Palmer. DHB caught four passes for 70 yards. But his biggest catch came in overtime, a 53 yard reception that arguably saved the Raiders season. The Raiders will treat this wees game as a playoff game and the Black Hole will be rocking. Look for both Moore and DHB to have a great game this Sunday

Chargers Projections:
Philip Rivers: 270 yards passing, 2 TD
Ryan Mathews: 80 yards rushing, 35 yards receiving
Mike Tolbert: 25 yards rushing, 20 yards receiving (questionable, hamstring)
Vincent Jackson: 60 yards receiving, (questionable, groin)
Malcom Floyd: 40 yards receiving (questionable, hip)
Antonio Gates: 65 yards receiving 1TD (questionable, foot)
Vincent Brown: 35 yards receiving
Analysis:
Philip Rivers couldn’t get going off the gate on last Sunday versus the Lions. Rivers completed 28-of-53 passes for 299 yards along with two interceptions. Rivers struggled in the first half and the Lions took a 24-0 lead into halftime. Rivers game alive in the second half but it was too little, too late. Look for Rivers to bounce back game this week and he will try to knock the Raiders out of the playoffs.
The Chargers have been dealing with injuries throughout the season. Ryan Mathews, Vincent Jackson and Mike Tolbert have all missed significant practice time this week. But barring any setback Mathews and Tolbert should be able to play on Sunday. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, “it is difficult to see” Vincent Jackson playing in Week 17. Check his status priorto game time if your for Championship on Sunday.
