Well, at least we know where Shareece Wright’s loyalties lie.
Wright, a San Diego Chargers rookie cornerback and Los Angeles native, stirred up a bit of controversy after tweeting out some complimentary things about the city of Los Angeles. According to Matthew T. Hall of the Union Tribune:
Wright, who grew up in Colton and went to USC, wrote about how nice downtown Los Angeles looked on television and suggested how much nicer it would look if a downtown football stadium were to get built. He ended his tweet with the hashtag #LosAngelesChargers.
Do we take it as a sign that the Chargers will be moving to L.A. any sooner? Probably not.
But it certainly makes for a bit of fun fodder.
